Kedma Call for Submissions for Spring 2021 Journal

Kedma is a forum for innovative thinking about Jewish culture and arts, and diverse Jewish communities and trends in the United States, Israel, and around the world.  “Kedma” comes from the Hebrew root kedem which means both “east” and “forward” – and indeed, the journal aims to embody this progressive and creative thinking.

Kedma’s website is officially updated with all of our issues since Spring 2018! We have published articles ranging from a review of the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, to a discussion of Woody Allen’s Annie Hall and its portrayal of the American Jewish experience. Check out our published work and share the link with your friends and family!

Kedma is looking for new editors and staff to fill a variety of positions (including top editorial positions)! If you are interesting in joining the Kedma’s editorial staff, contact Miriam Minsk (mminsk@seas.upenn.edu) or Noga Even (nogaeven@wharton.upenn.edu).
