Spring 2015 Jewish Studies Bassini Internships
The Jewish Studies Bassini Internship Program enables undergraduate students to get involved in the intellectual dimensions of Jewish Studies outside the classroom. Interns will meet informally as a group once or twice a semester with Penn Jewish Studies faculty and visiting scholars, and each intern will be expected to work in a group to organize one event which involves other Penn students—e.g., a discussion or informal meal with a scholar, a program at a movie or theater performance that raises questions and issues relevant to Jewish Studies, etc.
In return for participation and service, and each intern will receive a $175 research stipend.
Submit your application to Chrissy Walsh at chwalsh@sas.upenn.edu by Friday, January 23, 2015.
If you have questions about the Jewish Studies Internship program, please contact Bassini Intern Program Coordinator, Tom Tearney at tearney@sas.upenn.edu
