UPenn Jewish Studies Colloquium: The State of the Field and New Directions in Jewish Studies

We are happy and proud to invite you to the first workshop in a new series of Jewish Studies workshops which will bring together graduate students, Jewish Studies faculty, and Katz Center fellows, with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary discussions and utilizing the abundant resources, expertise and exciting scholarship and teaching taking place, here at Penn.

The first workshop titled, "The State of the Field and New Directions in Jewish Studies", will take place Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Max Kade Center on 3401 Walnut Street.

The event will include a panel discussion with distinguished and innovative scholars across disciplines - Katz Center fellows John Efron and Hanna Pollin-Galay, Director of the Jewish Studies Program, Talya Fishman, and Director of the Katz Center, Steven Weitzman.

Food and drink will be served.
